A Heartfelt Thank You

"I can’t say enough about how amazing this daycare has been for my children over the years. Happy Hearts isn’t just a place where kids are cared for—it’s where they are truly growing, both academically and emotionally. They are not just being babysat; they are learning valuable lessons, forming friendships, and developing a love for learning. As a parent, it’s so reassuring to know they are in an environment that encourages their growth. I will forever be grateful to Desiree, Carlee, and their extraordinary team. From the moment I walked in the door in tears after having to pull my children from another daycare, they welcomed my family with open arms and supported us every step of the way. They’ve gone above and beyond to accommodate our ever-changing needs, and their dedication has meant the world to us. As my children are about to graduate into the town school system, I can’t help but feel so thankful for the friends they've made, the lessons they’ve learned, and the love they’ve received here. This daycare will always hold a special place in our hearts—it's truly been a home away from home. If you’re looking for a daycare that will care for your child like their own, this is the place. We will always be forever grateful for everything they've done for us. ❤️❤️❤️"

"Raising Awareness of Developmental Language Disorders I was asked to help raise awareness of Developmental Language Disorders (DLD): a neurological developmental condition that can persist into adulthood. Although more common than autism, it is not so widely known, as illustrated by Professor C Norbury’s 2014 research showing that, although DLD affects 7.58% children only half were actually diagnosed, with 2 in every primary class of 30 children having DLD severe enough to hinder their academic progress & is more prevalent in boys. I therefore wrote an easy-to-read book, with a forward by Professor Dorothy Bishop that has been on UK university reading lists and tells how Rachel was born with a classic Language Disorder that went undiagnosed until she was sixteen years old, struggled through mainstream education with little or no help from professionals yet managed to succeed against all odds. It is therefore essential reading for anyone working with children and young people in order to appreciate the difficulties they face on a daily basis, both socially and academically, and the repercussions this has on their mental health. ‘Rachel the ‘write’ to speak’ by Sandra Capelin is available from Amazon UK for £5 / 6.5 US dollars but please note that I am not making money from royalties. I just want to raise awareness. Developmental Language Disorders affect 2/30 children & hinders their progress. ‘Rachel’ by Sandra Capelin tells how Rachel was born with classic DLD yet struggled through education with no help: Available from Amazon UK for £5 / 6.5 US dollars. "The care my children receive at Happy Hearts is exceptional, they make us feel like an extension of their family. I trust that when I drop my children there that I can go to work worry free. My Butterfly and Firefly are happy to spend the day there growing and learning with friends."

"Our daughter has been going here since she was 4 months old. Everyone is so great with her and she loves it! They do lots of enriching activities like music time, outdoor time, arts and crafts, and we love getting photos of her having fun throughout the day. Definitely recommend."

"I had the pleasure of working with the Drapala family and their incredible staff for 10 years. Throughout my time at Happy Hearts I received the greatest knowledge and education instilled by the Drapala’s that helped me provide the best care and education for all ages. They hold a special place in my heart as not only my employers but another part of my family. I am now a part of Happy Hearts as a mother ! It provides me with great comfort and joy that my daughter is in the safest and best care. The love, care, and education this daycare provides to all the children are unmatched ! Happy Hearts has our hearts!! xoxo"
